April 15, 2026: Fresno State Clothing Closet
The Fresno State Clothing Closet is an on-campus resource for students who are looking for professional clothing for interviews, career fairs, work or other career endeavors. Students have access to suits, blazers, dress pants, shirts, skirts and more. Accessories like shoes, ties, belts and purses are also available. Students are allowed up to three pieces of clothing and one accessory of their choice per semester, free of charge. (Free - I love this!)
The Clothing Closet is located inside the Career Center in the University Student Union (USU) in room 306, and is open Monday-Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The closet provides dressing rooms and even a photo corner for professional headshots!
The Fresno State Clothing Closet is a donation-funded center. Support comes from in-kind donations of clothing and accessories as well as financial contributions. Those interested in donating clothing or accessories can drop off on location or schedule an appointment via their website, or by phone at (559) 278-2381. They accept lightly-worn clothing in good condition that has recently been cleaned. There is also a donation drop box behind the Satellite Student Union (SSU). They gratefully accept cash donations, which provide the closet with the ability to buy common items like black blazers and dress shirts. All donations are tax-deductible and receipts are provided.
If you or another student are in need of professional clothing, do not wait! This valuable resource is on campus to support all Fresno State students.
